Direct Billing Massage Therapy in Saskatoon
We bill your insurance directly so you can focus on getting better, not on paperwork.
At Satori Therapeutics, Mandy Fahr RMT offers direct billing to most major insurance providers, as well as SGI motor vehicle injury claims and WCB workplace injury claims. You pay nothing out of pocket for covered treatments. Just bring your insurance information to your first appointment and we take care of the rest.
What Is Direct Billing?
Direct billing means your registered massage therapist submits your insurance claim on your behalf at the time of your appointment. Instead of paying the full treatment cost upfront and waiting for reimbursement, your insurance plan is billed directly and you pay only any remaining balance.
Mandy Fahr RMT is registered with the Massage Therapist Association of Saskatchewan (MTAS) and is recognized by most major insurance providers. If you are unsure whether your plan covers massage therapy, contact your provider before your first appointment and ask whether RMT treatments are covered.
SGI and WCB Injury Claims in Saskatoon
If you have been injured in a motor vehicle accident or a workplace incident, massage therapy is a recognized treatment under both SGI and WCB in Saskatchewan.
SGI (Saskatchewan Government Insurance): Mandy Fahr RMT is an approved SGI provider. Motor vehicle accident patients can receive massage therapy as part of their injury recovery at no out-of-pocket cost when covered by an active SGI claim. Please note: your SGI claim number is required prior to booking.
WCB (Workers Compensation Board): Workplace injury patients with an active WCB claim can also receive covered massage therapy treatments through Satori Therapeutics. Bring your WCB claim number to your first appointment.
Both SGI and WCB patients are seen by Mandy Fahr RMT, who has extensive experience working with injury rehabilitation and chronic pain recovery.
How Massage Therapy Supports SGI and WCB Injury Recovery
- Muscle tension and spasm relief: motor vehicle and workplace injuries commonly cause persistent muscle guarding and spasm that massage therapy directly addresses through therapeutic and deep tissue techniques
- Reduced pain and inflammation: hands-on treatment helps reduce soft tissue inflammation and interrupt pain cycles that build up after an injury goes untreated
- Improved range of motion: injuries to the neck, shoulder, back, and hip often restrict movement; targeted RMT treatment helps restore function progressively over a course of treatment
- Faster return to daily activity: regular treatment during your recovery period is associated with faster return to normal function compared to rest alone
- Experienced injury care: Mandy Fahr RMT has over 15 years of experience working with chronic pain and injury rehabilitation, with additional training in IASTM and myofascial cupping for soft tissue recovery
