Float Therapy + Massage: The Most Complete Recovery Session in Saskatoon

One of the things that sets Satori Therapeutics apart from a standalone float studio is that our registered massage therapists are right here in the same clinic. A lot of our clients combine a float session with an RMT treatment on the same visit — the massage works through the physical tension, and the float gives your nervous system the quiet it needs to fully integrate that release. Many people find the combination more effective than either on its own.

Whether you book them back-to-back or on separate days, both services are available seven days a week and can be reserved online in a few minutes.

What to Expect at Your First Float Session

If you've never floated before, it's normal to have questions. Here's what a typical session looks like at Satori Therapeutics.

Before You Float

Our float facilitator will walk you through everything before you step in; how the pod and pool work, what to do if you need to exit, and a few simple tips to help you settle in quickly. You'll shower before entering the tank, and earplugs are provided.

The Session

Once you're in the water, there's nothing you need to do. Most people feel the shift into deep relaxation within 20–30 minutes. Sessions are available in 60, 90, and 120-minute lengths — first-timers often start with 60 or 90 minutes. Tandem float pool sessions are available if you'd like to float with a partner.

After You Float

You'll shower, rehydrate, and ease back into the day. Most people describe feeling noticeably calmer and physically lighter for several hours afterward. Some book a massage treatment the same day to extend that feeling even further.

Float Therapy

Float Therapy is the process of floating in a sensory deprivation/isolation/zero gravity pod or pool filled with body temperature water and 1,000 lbs of Epsom salts in complete silence and darkness. By removing all external stimuli from the nervous system, it has many benefits to the human body. This includes both mental and physical effects.
